Riverside Education

Riverside Education is a specialist independent school in Stechford that was established as a result of a PhD thesis written by Dr Abide Zenenga on ‘Engaging Fathers in the Education of their Sons’.

Our school offers bespoke alternative education to young people aged 14-19 with a wide range of complex neurological and psychological difficulties. These include; Asperger’s Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, anxiety and mental health disorders such as personality disorder, eating disorders OCD etc. In addition we have specific learning difficulties, such as Dyslexia. Dyspraxia / DCD. Dyscalculia. A.D.D / A.D.H.D  .

Our unique and caring approach works to support our pupils’ social, emotional and mental health needs as well as developing their academic potential and achievements. All of our qualified dedicated staff work hard and are committed to developing the potential in each and every one of our students.

Our school operates for 38 weeks of the year providing 100 full time places to our students. Our unique environment provides a variety of educational options such as on-site academic programmes (level 1 / 2 and GCSE), a range of quality vocational courses along with specialised one to one onsite and off-site provision including home tutoring.
