The move will see the Stoke-on-Trent company’s branding adorn the front of the away shirt for the duration of the Super League season.

The new partnership forms part of the second phase of Tile Mountain’s sporting sponsorship activity.

The company is already enjoying the success of an ongoing brand partnership with Championship team Stoke City FC and has previously sponsored European Tour golfers Tyrell Hatton and Jigger Thomson.

The association with Hull KR represents another important part of the company’s marketing strategy – specifically the opportunity for increased brand visibility via television coverage of Super League matches.

Tile Mountain chairman Mo Iqbal said: “We’re delighted to become an official partner of Hull KR. Tile Mountain and the club share many similarities in that we are both continually striving for success in our fields and are always looking to provide our customers or followers with a ‘best in class’ experience.

“Much like Tile Mountain, Hull Kingston Rovers RFC has a history of innovation and community engagement and it’s these similarities that makes the club such a good fit with our brand.”

Paul Lakin, Hull Kingston Rovers chief executive said: “We are thrilled that Tile Mountain will be our away shirt main sponsor for this season.

“This sponsorship will help play a part in achieving Tile Mountain’s 2021 business objectives and we look forward to helping further increase the company’s brand profile whilst attracting new customers.”

Tile Mountain was founded in 2013 by Mo Iqbal and former Topps Tiles directors Jeremy Harris and Nick Ounstead.

Following rapid expansion, the company now counts Capitol Tiles Distribution, online retailers Tons of Tiles and Walls and Floors Ltd and Tiles247 among the Tile Mountain Group.
