A Birmingham-based building services consultancy has been acquired by a Yorkshire group.

Stewart Associates, which has 24 staff including engineers and CAD designers, has been bought by C80 Group in an undisclosed deal.

Leeds-based C80 Group runs two companies called C80 Solutions and YDBC.

Stewart Associates specialises in building services engineering for clients such as the NHS and UK universities while C80 offers building control surveying, energy assessment, compliance, consultancy and testing services.

Its client base is in sectors such as housebuilding, property development and architecture.
