A Stoke-on-Trent timber firm has changed its name after being acquired by one of the UK’s largest sawmilling businesses.
In December, BusinessLive reported that SCA Wood Supply UK Ltd had been snapped up by BSW.
SCA Wood, which is based in Etruria, is one of the largest processors and distributors of timber products in the UK with annual sales in excess of £145m.
The business operates from its Etruscan Street headquarters and has a further processing and distribution capability at its three other sites in Melton, Welshpool and Cumbernauld.
