AWARD-WINNING JAMAICAN food brand, Marshall and Brown, has this month launched a brand new range of chutneys, with a Caribbean influence. The gourmet, vegan chutneys come in a range of flavours – and are also gluten-free.
Hot on the heels of the brand’s recent Great Taste Award, Marshall and Brown have released another premium product to join its exclusive portfolio. Made in the UK, the range of chutneys feature flavours that reflect traditional British recipes but with the addition of typical Jamaican spices. The chutneys will also take pride of place in the brand’s newly launched Luxury Caribbean Food Hamper.
The range is intended as a celebration of UK and Jamaican fusion flavours and is a reflection of the heritage of founder Dr Carlton Brown. Born in the UK to Jamaican parents, he grew up watching his mother cook, which led to a love of both cuisines and a desire to create a product that is reminiscent of both cultures.
“I am excited to launch this vegan, gluten-free range of delicious gourmet chutneys. I grew up enjoying the best of British and Jamaican cuisine, which led to a desire to create products that reflected the best of both worlds. We believe we have achieved that with these tasty chutneys – and just in time for them to make a flavoursome addition to any Christmas feast.

The chutney flavours are sundried tomato and garlic, apple cider, beetroot and orange, pear and ginger, red onion marmalade, and rhubarb, apple and ginger.
