Jaguar Racing has renewed its long-term partnership with engineering group GKN.
Redditch-based GKN Automotive will continue its relationship with the West Midlands car brand as its official e-drive partner.
GKN will work closely with the team’s technical partners to apply its driveline and software development expertise to the I-Type 5 – Jaguar’s new all-electric Formula E race car.
Jaguar Racing competes in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and is now preparing the start of the next season in January in Chile.
GKN Automotive has roots in motorsport dating back almost a century and it worked with Jaguar in 1935 when it supplied driveline technology to the first SS Jaguar saloon.
