Accountancy firm DJH Mitten Clarke has expanded again after joining forces with another business.
The Stoke-on-Trent company has combined with fellow accountancy firm Morris & Co, based in Ellesmere Port, near Chester.
The move comes less than a month after Mitten Clarke merged with Newcastle-under-Lyme-based DJH and broke into the top 100 UK accountancy practices.
The enlarged 128-strong workforce now operate from offices at Festival Park.
Scott Heath, executive director at DJH Mitten Clarke, said: “Whilst exploring our options to enhance our presence in the North West, we considered a number of firms but Morris & Co really stood out.
“We were blown away by the team and their specialisms and knowledge of the health care and franchise sectors.
“Joining forces will strengthen the infrastructure of both businesses. We can learn a lot from each other, adding value along the way for our clients.”
Nick Ledingham and Desirie Lea will continue to lead Morris & Co – which has a growing team of 70 – as part of the move, and the Morris & Co brand will remain.
