The regional firm – which specialises in advising growing and owner-managed businesses – has signed up for the Growth Award again.

Dains – which operates from five offices in Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Lichfield and Stoke-on-Trent – is joining StokeonTrentLive to recognise businesses from across North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent that can demonstrate future or actual growth.

The Growth Award is one of 13 categories which are up for grabs at the StokeonTrentLive Business Awards 2021.

Jon Dudley, audit partner at Dains, said: “Dains are delighted to be sponsoring the StokeonTrentLive Business Awards 2021. The Growth category, sponsored by Dains, gives an insight into some of the truly entrepreneurial businesses locally, where critically, the award does not differentiate by top line revenue. During the current pandemic, growth may not be purely financial, but may include diversification or change.”

He added: “In our experience, this success is based on the underlying drive and vision of the management and commitment of the team.

“Growing businesses require a range of support from their professional advisors and this creates opportunities for firms locally. However, it is important that as a professional community, we have the skills and experience to be taken on the journey and the depth of knowledge to fulfil the ever-growing requirements of these inspirational businesses.

“North Staffordshire has had its fair share of well-known businesses that have enjoyed exceptional growth over the past few years and from our experience, it is incredibly exciting as well as being a privilege to be part of this journey.

“We eagerly await the nominees for the awards in 2021 and wish all the nominees the best of luck and hope to meet with you (virtually) very soon.”
