The shortlist for the 2021 CoventryLive Business Awards can be revealed today.
Almost 30 different businesses and organisations from across Coventry and Warwickshire have been listed in 11 categories from which our overall Company of the Year will be chosen.
The annual awards, which had an enforced hiatus last year because of the coronavirus pandemic, will take place next month and celebrate the city region’s finest businesses, entrepreneurs and organisations.
The 2021 awards ceremony will be held at the Coventry Building Society Arena on October 14

The business world has suffered a tumultuous 18 months following the fallout from the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns so this year’s event will have a special one-off covid award.
It will recognise a business that has looked the pandemic in the eye and used it as an opportunity to thrive and grow.
The awards are run by our sister website and newspaper CoventryLive and Coventry Telegraph in conjunction with BusinessLive.

The 2021 judging panel was chaired by Marc Reeves, Midlands marketplace publisher for CoventryLive owner Reach plc, who was joined by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s trade director Ajay Desai, CityFibre’s regional partnership director Leigh Hunt and Barclays’ business banking regional manager Kurt Pollard.
Mr Reeves said: “After such a tumultuous period for the business world, it was heartening to see so much talent on display during this year’s judging process.
“Our panel was impressed with the way Coventry’s companies and employers faced the effects of the coronavirus undaunted and continued to deliver for their customers and clients.
