Cazoo launches new customer centre in Birmingham

The car retailer which recently became Aston Villa’s principal commercial partner has launched its new customer service centre in Birmingham.

Cazoo has refitted and rebranded the site in Tyburn Road, Erdington, which was previously run by Imperial Cars before it was bought out in the summer.

Cazoo was launched last year by Alex Chesterman, the man behind movie rental service LoveFilm and house-selling website Zoopla, and specialises in used car sales and finance products.

It has invested £1 million and created 15 new jobs at the Birmingham centre which offers vehicle collection, MOTs and servicing.

The Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards are back for a second year, in partnership with the Ladder for Greater Birmingham. The event will be held online only on Friday November 27, 2020 and will celebrate apprentices, employers and training and education providers.

The site is the company’s fifth centre and one of 16 due to launch by the end of this year across the UK, generating a total of 200 new jobs.

In July, Cazoo announced it had struck a multi-year deal with Aston Villa to be the club’s main shirt sponsor.

Its branding features on the playing and training kits of all sides, including the junior and women’s teams, along with branding in the stadium and on merchandise, the club website and media backdrops.

“With our ever-increasing number of sales, these new centres will provide more options to our customers on when and how they want to receive their car and will allow us to serve them better through our own service centres.
