BREONNA TAYLOR’S mother has spoken to Good Morning Britain where she said the family are “dying without her” and feel used by President Biden.
One year on from her Breonna Taylor’s shooting by police in her home during a drug raid, the family are demanding justice.
Speaking exclusively to North America Correspondent Noel Phillips her mother Tamika Palmer said: “We are dying without her. We miss her and we love her.”
She added: “It’s one year later and we’re still asking for the system to do the right thing. For justice. I’ve never seen something so black and white be so hard, nobody willing to stand up and do what’s right, or be the first person to do the right thing. The disregard for black lives is insane.”
Despite assurances she said were made during his 2020 campaign, Tamika feels let down and used by President Biden, saying: “You can’t use us like that. You can’t use people like that to get in that position. And the world knows that we’re all tired.”
She added: “We’re exhausted, and we’re tired of fighting for what’s right.”
