In 2015, Gateley became the first UK law firm to float on AIM, a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange. Since then, both headcount and revenue have doubled with more than 1,000 people employed across 11 locations. During the last 30 years, the business has achieved an unbroken record of increased profit delivery through expanding business services and sustainable growth.

In May 2020, Alex Bishop and Beth McArdle took over as co-heads of the Birmingham office, seeing the role be shared by a female for the first time. Both have many accolades and have been vital in the firm’s growth.
