The Birmingham Post Business Awards are back for 2021 and ready for your nominations.
The annual ceremony, which had an enforced hiatus last year because of the coronavirus crisis, will celebrate the city’s finest businesses, entrepreneurs and organisations across 12 different categories.
They will also once again crown our overall Company of the Year taken from our category winners on the night.
The business world has suffered a tumultuous 12 months following the fallout from the pandemic and subsequent lockdown so this year’s event will have a special one-off covid award.
It will recognise a business that has looked the pandemic in the eye and used it as an opportunity to thrive and grow.
You can enter now here and the deadline for nominations is April 19.
The ceremony will be held online on June 15 on our new events platform The Awards Room which allows guests to network virtually during the ceremony.

Tamlyn Jones, Midlands business editor for BusinessLive, said: “To say the past 12 months have been difficult for the West Midlands business community would be the understatement of the year.
“But where some have struggled, others have thrived, with companies showcasing the very best of that entrepreneurial spirit the region is renowned for by adapting their offer, finding new revenue streams and even helping out in the battle against the spread of covid-19.
“This will be reflected in our one-off Covid Defiance Award and I look forward to reading more about your endeavours as the nominations come in.
“As Europe’s youngest city, it is also great that we are once again celebrating the next generation with our award dedicated to those entrepreneurs under 35. The deadline is next month so please get entering.”
