Joinery, upholstery and furniture manufacturer One Contracts has launched a recruitment drive after seeing an influx of new projects in 2021.
The Stoke-on-Trent company is on the look out for six new employees following the reopening of hospitality businesses which has led to a 40 per cent increase in orders so far this year compared to two years ago.
One Contracts Ltd was founded by Pascal Parker and his brother-in-law Matt Stocks in 2018.
The company started operating from a small unit at the Sutherland Institute in Longton, but it has gone on to outgrow three units, eventually relocating to its biggest site yet – in Whieldon Old Road, Fenton – in 2019.
It specialises in joinery and upholstery manufacturing for the hotel, restaurant, commercial office, sport, retail and high-end residential sectors.
The team works closely with designers, architects and contractors offering full end-to-end service from 3D design and drawings, project management and installation.
Over the years it has successfully delivered orders for big-name brands including Holiday Inn, Hilton Hotels, Pizza Express and Mitchells and Butlers.
Pascal said: “We’re pleased at our rate of growth. It’s testament to our current team and the reputation we’ve built locally for providing the highest standard of product and services to our customers.”
