Apprentice star’s IT firm celebrates turnover and profits hike

A Manchester IT firm led by a former star of The Apprentice has reported a jump in its turnover and profits for its latest financial year.

Everything Tech has posted a turnover of £3.06m for its latest 12 months, a rise of more than 152% compared to the previous year.

Its gross profits also surged by 128% to £1.48m over the same period.

The company, which also has offices in London, Glasgow and Cannock, is co-owned by managing director Ruth Hall who as Ruth Badger finished second in The Apprentice in 2006.

Mrs Hall said: “Against a backdrop of mixed trading conditions due to the impact of Covid-19 and lockdowns, our performance in 2021 has remained strong and has exceeded expectations

“While fewer customers were onboarded compared to 2020, we have secured larger contracts across the healthcare sector as organisations look for partners who can deliver proactive IT support and strategy to guarantee their business continuity.

“This growth has enabled us to invest back into the business, with an increase in staff numbers and the launch of an employee engagement programme to ensure we retain the very talented team we have built.

“These figures set the foundation for what we expect to be our most successful year in 2022 as we look to build on the achievements made throughout 2021.”

The figures come after the company recently acquired of IT company, Unite.

Also during the year, its headcount grew by 54% to 40, a new senior leadership team was formed and there was a 25% rise in new customers.

The business was also co-founded by Lee Wrall and Anthony Hautin.
