Big swathes of society are re-opening again with the return of beer gardens, cafes and outdoor restaurant areas from April 12.
Non-essential retail, hairdressers and beauticians are welcoming customers after a long winter. But there are still many businesses that have to stay closed until the next stage of the lockdown easing road map.

The aim is for remaining settings such as nightclubs and adult entertainment venues to re-open and to lift the restrictions on social contact and large events that apply in Step 3.
