A digital agency is marking its 10th year in business with a major re-brand which has seen it change its name to Deploy.
For the last decade, the Stoke-on-Trent-based business has been operating as Attain Design.
But to mark the milestone birthday, and as a result of the pandemic, the company has adopted a new brand.
Company director Grant Woolley says the new name reflects the business as it is today – and will help it to meet its ambitious growth goals in the future.
Client services director Grant said: “We are in an industry where we can work quite well from home; we mobilised quite easily on the first day of lockdown and have been supporting people right the way through.
“In April, it was our 10 year anniversary which was obviously right in the thick of lockdown so the celebrations were a bit muted, but it gave us a bit of thinking time and a bit of time to plan.
“Re-branding the agency is something we’ve been meaning to do for a while because it just felt like the brand we started with was not quite fitting for us anymore, and it hadn’t been for some time.
“So lockdown was an opportunity for action; Deploy is a much more fitting brand for us.”
In the last few month, the agency has also become a Magento business solutions partner which has allowed it to take on new projects.
Grant said: “As a company, we are now 100 per cent focused on the Magento platform and that’s going really, really well. We’re working with them on four different commerce projects that have all happened since lockdown.
“We’ve also been having new conversations with businesses which are experiencing growth, such as in the homes and gardens industry.
“We are helping them capitalise on that short-term shot in the arm that they are receiving to turn it into a long-term, consistent, increase in performance for them.
“We’ve also been helping our existing clients to spend wisely and invest in what they need to invest in when it comes to e-commerce.”

Over the next 12 months, Deploy is planning to relocate to new offices within the city and recruit two new Magento developers.
Its longer term plans involve doubling its current workforce to become a 20-person agency.
Grant added: “We’ve got some ambitious growth plans off the back of having a really healthy start to life as Deploy.
“There’s a number of projects that are keeping us really, really busy which is why we are looking for two new developers.
“We are also looking for new offices as well. We will be on the move early next year but we are on the look-out now.
“We’re not necessarily looking for something bigger, we just want a space that is a better fit for us going forward as we aim to become a 20-person agency.”
