Katie Price concerned for son’s health after weight gain

FAMILY: Katie Price and son Harvey

KATIE PRICE has revealed that she fears 16-year-old Harvey, who suffers from the rare condition Prader-Willi Syndrome and autism, could die from diabetes if he continues to gain weight.

Ahead of her new TV series My Crazy Life, Price told The Sun: “he weighs over 22 stone now. If you look at all of my kids we all eat the same, we’re all the same.”

“But he’s got medical problems. And if he doesn’t sort it out he will die, we’ve been told, because of his heart,” she added.

The threat of Harvey suffering from type 2-diabetes has prompted Price to put him on a fitness regime with the help of new boyfriend and weight loss specialist Kris Boyson.

It was through her sons’ condition that she originally reached out to the trainer. She said: “Obviously somebody who is going to give my son attention like that when nobody’s ever given him that. Seeing the smile on his face – course it’s attractive.”

Despite entering into a new relationship with Boyson amid a divorce with third husband Kieran Hayler, Price said: “My children are my priority – Harvey’s ongoing medical problems are never-ending.”
